Gluten Sensitivity-The Reason Behind That Stubborn Belly Fat?

It can be funny the way you discover one idea when you were totally concentrated on something different entirely.

I was having a few minor health problems and so I thought i would try trimming gluten from my diet regime to find out if it would help me to feel better. Well, not only did I feel better but my energy level improved and my jeans got looser – absolutely unpredicted.

To start with, what the heck is gluten?

Without delivering an extensive, tedious description of what gluten is, gluten is simply just,

“…a mixture of plant proteins found in cereal grains, such as wheat, rye, barley..it is also used as an adhesive in making seasonings, especially monosodium glutamate (MSG).”
-The American Heritage Science Dictionary

Surprisingly, gluten can be found in a lot of foods like salad dressings and even soy sauce! It is no surprise several individuals tend to be growing a sensitivity to the stuff, it really is in every thing! (I do need to explain that gluten sensitivity isn’t to be confused with gluten intolerance – a whole different situation entirely. These people become really sick in the event that they consume even the smallest amount of gluten. This would certainly not be us

Okay, so back to the things i discovered…

I was in fact still eating carbs, so this was not just a “cut out all breads and pastas” low-carb sort of thing. I continued to feed on those things, although in gluten-free form.

I’d point out that I lost mainly inches/body fat, not weight, because I simply lost about Two lbs …..however my clothes ended up fitting much better. I wasn’t trying to lose pounds at the time, nonetheless I figured, “Hey, this may be great for anybody attempting to lose weight or simply just persistent abdominal fat.”

And so, I personally passed this idea on to a friend of mine, who coincidentally had just been complaining about her persistent abdominal fat. She experimented with the idea and within a 7 days, noticed a difference in the way her clothing was fitting, and a defined decline in belly size. I believe in the end, she dropped nearly 2 clothing sizes, without workouts. Not too shabby I’d say!

And so, obviously, I discovered I was on to something.

The Diet Plan

It is really very simple to do, do not stress about it. Just substantially decrease or even eliminate fully all gluten from your diet. Replace those things with gluten free versions. There it is. No crazy restrictions, or being hungry, or cravings to deal with. Try it, you could end up being pleasantly surprised. The truly neat thing is that physical activity would only make the effects even better.
